Remarkably cold-hardy, this fig produces a reliable crop of sweet brown fruit in late summer. It also produces fruit on new growth, so it can die back completely in cold winter zones, yet sprout again in spring and still fruit in summer. Overwinter plants in a cool, frost-free location.
