DESCRIPTION:For an interesting accent or specimen, this native perennial fits the bill. In spring, pink and red flower buds emerge above 45cm/18" tall, fern-like plants. When open, the buds reveal dramatic looking smoke-like plumes of white filaments. Best grown in dry, well-drained soils in full sun and in cooler summer climates. Deer resistant. Attracts pollinators.
