Generally hardy in Canadian zones 5a to 6b, and suitable for milder parts of Ontario, British Columbia, and Atlantic Canada. It is an evergreen, trailing, or climbing vine with small, deeply lobed, star-like green leaves, growing 3-6 inches tall and spreading up to 3 feet. It prefers part to full shade.

Excellent for container planting, hanging baskets, or covering walls and shaded, moist areas.
