LAVENDER - SEED

Perennial herb, hardy in zones 5-9. Some winter protection needed at the northern end of its range.  Flowers are dried and used in sachets and potpourri. The plants make a fragrant addition to the garden. Grows up to 30cm (12") tall.  Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start them inside and transplant when danger of frost is past.
