An early-season, fireblight resistant pear developed in Ontario, Canada. Mildly sweet, with crisp, firm, grit-free white flesh and yellow skin with a red blush. 

Highly rated for fresh eating, baking and storing. 

Requires cross-pollination with another pear variety with a similar flowering time, such as: Bartlett, Harrow Delight, or Keiffer
